King's Lynn town centre is a construction site at the moment. A long-overdue shopping centre revamp is finally getting going. The car park outside the swimming pool is currently a forest of concrete columns. Modern clean lines juxtaposed with the ancient ruined Greyfriars tower in the background. The tower is the remains of a 13th century Franciscan friary, and is sometimes called "The Leaning Tower of Lynn". The lean is particularly noticeable against the vertical lines of the new columns, which is why I took the picture.
