Becky's Gay Out

Okay - lets take stock of 2004 so far. This year I have trannied in...

• 2 hemispheres
• 4 countries
• 8 Cities
• countless venues
• 2 pride events

Okay - better make that three pride events. Late in June Kim from The Angels announced a competition for two free tickets to "The Big Gay Out" - this years London LGBT Pride event. I quickly emailed all my friends and said that if I won I'd share my second ticket with them.

Luckily Sophie fell for it and when she happened to win, she offered me HER spare ticket. Result!

(OK. That's not actually true - I'm not clever enough to think of things that sneaky!)

So off we toddled to Finsbury Park to spend the day watching bands like The Sugarbabes, McFly and Har Mar Superstar (very cool), surrounded by a load o' gays!

Great fun, if a little windy when the sun went in. But at least it didn't rain. And afterwards we got to party at the other big event in town that night: Trans-Mission!
