The Angles website has been designed to support the geometer community and inform those interested. We are not on a crusade or expect to be understood, because a lot of what we talk about is quite complicated and fiddly. Like all the stuff about cosines and that.

Nigel's First Geometry Convention
I'll never forget the buzz I felt as I first stepped outside wearing my T-shirt featuring all the Platonic Solids. No-one even batted an eyelid! I was soon in the thick of the convention, and met up with my friend Gavin, wearing a Buckminster Fuller hat and beaming from sideburn to sideburn...

Square of the Hypotenuse "Not Quite" Equal to the Sum of the Squares of the Opposite Two Sides
A group of theoretical geometers working in the High-Energy Non-Euclidean Reactor facility five miles under Weston Super Mare have turned the world of geometry on it's head by discovering that the sum of the square of the hypotenuse isn't actually equal to the sum of the squares of the opposite two sides in a right angled triangle. "It's acutally a bit less," said Head Geometer Paul Groom, somewhat sheepishly.

Quite a few AOL users are having trouble logging into the site... but quite frankly we don't like your sort anyway. Come back when you've got a grown-up internet connection.

The links below actually work!

This is an affectionate pastiche of the REAL UK Angels Site.

It was knocked together on a boring afternoon by Becky EnVérité.

This page is devoted to the poor unfortunate T-girls who suffer from
"LE/EL Letter Combination Blindness". In the hopes that one day
medical science will find a cure.
